Welcome Linda Lam, IDAAS’ new Community Engagement Coordinator
Linda Lam joins IDAAS as the new Community Engagement Coordinator. As the clinic coordinator at the John Marshall High School Health Center, Linda has experience with small grant writing, administering grants, and coordinating youth activity programs. She has experience creating and implementing popular education workshops on media literacy with Communities for Better Environment and Public Allies Los Angeles fellow. In addition to participating in the Los Angeles Summer Activist Training, Linda graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with degrees in Asian American Studies and Psychology.
Stop by IDAAS to say Hi. Her office is located at Lincoln 1119, Pomona. Her office hours are Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Welcome Professor Todd Honma!
Professor Todd Honma (PZ) is our new tenure-track faculty in Asian American Studies. This year, he will be teaching courses such as first-year seminar, Filipina/o American Experiences, Asian American and Queer Zines, and Tattoos, Piercing and Body Adornment.

Professor Karin Mak received a number of grants for the completion of her film project, “Red Dust” (Roy W. Dean Film Grant – Los Angeles; Emerging Crisis Oral History Research Fund; Labor and Employment Research Fund (LERF); Pacific Rim Mini-Grant).
